Memorizing Scripture is one of the best things we can do and teach our children! The Bible says in Deuteronomy 11:18-20 to "Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Each week in our homeschooling, my daughter and I work to memorize one new scripture verse. I found these great A-Z memory verses on Homeschool Creations. I laminated them and put them on a ring to add to our morning routine.
Each week we learn a new verse. We say the verse together every day and by Friday if she can say the whole verse by herself she gets to add a sticker to her sticker chart. I just use some fun smiley face stickers like these but any round stickers would work. I have included several sticker chart options. The one I use has spots for 25 stickers. There are also options for 30 stickers, 40, 45 and 50 stickers. All charts are included in color and black and white. You can download them for free in my TpT store by clicking here.
Hope you enjoy!
