Featured Website of the Month (March)

Updated: Aug 29, 2018

This month's featured website allows you to create custom interactive games to embed on your own class webpage. All you have to do is add a title, questions and answers to one of several templates and it will create a game quiz for you! Then simply copy and paste the code to your school's website and voila! Did I mention the website is free?

A few of the games are a little flashy for my taste so you may have to sort through them a bit to find one that works well for your students. It also takes a bit of playing around to figure out how to do everything at first but once you get the hang of it it's not too difficult. Here are a few tips to get you started: Templates are along the right sidebar. Once you enter your questions and answers into a template select the "embed into blog/webpage" gear icon on the bottom of the screen (see screenshot below) BEFORE clicking "proceed".

Some of the games include arcade like games (these were a bit too flashy for me), QR code games, graphic organizers, and more!

Wouldn't it be fun to give your students a quiz that is an interactive computer game? No more, "Do we have to?" responses when you announce a pop quiz! Thank you to my Facebook fans for finding this website! Now go and have some fun exploring classtools.net and please let me know if you have other great websites for teachers that I should check out! You can leave a comment below or add them to my list on Facebook

Hope you all have a wonderful week!
